Room Study on Natalie Catalina

Inspired by my own apartment… a little room study. I’ve recently felt the urge to make a few updates around my home after 2.5 years here. I recently switched out my coffee table for a beautiful vintage travertine find and have a new sofa coming in June! Amazing what a fresh piece of furniture can do for a space.

My living room is, of course, the area I spend most of my time in. I adore it. I’ve carefully selected each piece homed there, from family antiques passed down to me, to amazing vintage finds, to new pieces that mixed in seamlessly. I’m often asked how I get my look—it’s honestly just a lot of neutrals, timeless, simple pieces that can work with anything, and little natural curiosities and textures. I love to keep this space feeling calm, fresh, and effortless. And since it has been a good year since I pulled one of these posts together, felt like a good time to share one inspired by my new sofa and coffee table! I’ve been bookmarking travertine coffee tables for monthsss, and was absolutely shocked when I saw someone selling one in DC for $300 (when they normally go for over $1,500). So happy I got my hands on one and how it’s given a whole new vibe to my space. On a similar note, I’ve been wanting a new sofa ever since I moved here and realized how much my style had changed. Out with the mid-century look and in with something clean and classic.
