Clean Slate
January always brings with it the dull, long days. Grey, quiet, and slow after all the festive happenings have past. But there’s something quite calming about this time of year. We’re all huddled indoors, cozied in. The city streets emptier, nothing but the white noise of winter air and the occasional drive-by.

I kind of love it. January is a time to reflect and prepare and plan. To organize and tidy. While these days can become quite depressing and unbearable at times, learning to embrace the calm can help reshape the way we feel about this time of year when we’re yearning for the warmth of spring. I’m lighting all the candles, listening to music, deep cleaning, watching all the feel-good movies, rearranging simple, little details at home for a clean slate and new feels. Having wine nights, taking fresh cold winter walks, and romanticizing daily occurrences to get me through it! I highly recommend.

A few furnishings on my mind for a well-curated space.
Happy Monday! I’m back! And it’s November. How did that happen? Let’s just say…work really crept in the past couple of weeks and my blogging plans did not go as expected. One blog post was not what I had in mind for you all. But my extra project is over and so I’ve settled back into my usual routine and have my evenings free to write and create and have fun again. And I’m very happy about it! I feel like it’s finally feeling like autumn with the colors changing and colder days, and honestly, I’m all for it. I love the cozy feelings of the season and am preparing to hibernate for the next several months and post more and more. Anyways, I’ve been bookmarking several interior pieces, like this gorgeous cabinet, and wanted to create something with it.

Summer Splendor
Currently soaking up the last month of summer splendor with neutrals, natural curiosities, woven textures, and calming palettes that evoke all the feel-good pleasures of the season.
I can’t help but still feel excited for Autumn up ahead, but I’m not giving up on summer quite yet. The days are still very much too hot and the sun is still high in the sky and I still find myself in loose, easy dresses over sun-kissed skin. I had to get a few more summer posts out the door before the rush of fall and holiday chaos comes in. I was sitting down at my computer Sunday and going through very old posts and came across one I love from years back. It made me miss spur of the moment posts that didn’t align with a specific series, but just something fun put out into the world. So here we are. I’ve been collecting so many beautiful pieces that have that summer feel, but are timeless and unique, and of course, neutral—you know me! Just wanted to share some summer splendor inspiration.
