Gone Antiquing Nº7
Getting back into the swing of things here on the blog with a new antique round-up of recent finds I’ve been bookmarking. If it weren’t for the fact that I actually have zero space for more antique lighting, I would have already stanched this chunky marble table lamp—with a fresh white empire shade, she’ll be a beauty…and under $100! Anyways, every time I dive into the endless hunt for beautiful objects online or wander through the quiet, treasure-filled halls of an antique shop, I find myself swept up in a wave of nostalgia for my old online vintage shop. The thought of reviving it keeps lingering in the back of my mind. I don’t know if I have the mental bandwidth just yet, but each passing day draws me a little closer to the idea. Especially with a clearer vision of my style now and a more refined taste, I think it could be special! I just loved finding pieces to add to the shop, packaging up those orders, and even the printed materials or little details like the tags or tape on the boxes… it was so fun and I miss it.
But I digress! I must say a big thank you to everyone who has supported my holiday gift guide—whether by shopping, sharing, or sending me a kind note. It was a true labor of love, and knowing the hours spent curating it have brought you joy is the best feeling. A handful of you even asked about printed versions for purchase (what a sweet thought!). While I don’t have any to offer this year—just one printed copy for my own keepsake—it’s sparked an idea. Perhaps a little printed booklet someday? Something tangible to bring this cozy corner of the internet to life, to inspire in a way that’s as tactile as it is visual. It’s a project taking shape in my mind the more I think about it—something to scheme and dream about.
For now, I’m content to think of new projects on the horizon and savor this space for the creative escape it offers. Here’s to more beautiful discoveries and inspiration ahead. Until then, happy antiquing—click items below to browse and enjoy!
Gone Antiquing No.7
Curio Cabinet No.1
I have to say a big thank you to everyone who has subscribed so far. It means a lot! It’s really lit a fire under me and I’m feeling more inspired than I have in a very long time. It’s refreshing to be working with a new outlet and to have a new look/direction for my own branding and design. I’m just excited about this space right now. Anyways…
This series tends to be a favorite of mine. Just a dump of all the things I’ve found on the internet lately in one round-up. And I loved the idea of calling it my curio cabinet as a collection of sorts… beautiful pieces to share.
Vintage Iron Urn
If you know me, you know I love an aged, patinated, imperfect urn. Good for the garden, but also decor or to hold flowers. I adore the color on this one.
Everlane Canvas Organic Cotton Parka
Obsessed with this parka. I love how classic, but modern it looks and the creamy neutral is certainly calling my name. I’m in the market for a new one and think this is it.
Gohar Mini Candelabra
I’m currently having a love affair with Gohar. I find myself browsing their site every week and can’t stop eyeing this amazing candelabra. I love how slightly funky and unique it is.
Marble Cone Shell
If you follow photos of my home on Instagram, you know I have a slight obsession with shells, and natural curiosities tend to be an element I flock to. Love the gorgeous pattern on this!
Los Angeles Apparel Seashell Earrings
While I’ll always be a gold girl at heart, silver has really made a comeback in my life lately. Particularly in earrings and I’ve start up a bit of a collection—these have been added!
Wicker Hurricane Candle Holders
If there’s a wicker candle holder in the room, I’m its #1 fan. These types of pieces just add so much good texture to a space and who doesn’t love a good hurricane.
Sam Edelman Michaela Mary Janes
It’s no surprise that Mary Janes are currently trending, though I do think they never go out of style. I already have a soft neutral velvet pair and think I’ll be snagging these as well!
Vintage Marble Vase
Little vintage accessories like this are how I create a cozy, collected home, but still keep it neutral and fresh. Love this small vase!
Nothing Written Nella Strap Bag
Nothing Written is one of those brands that flies under the radar but is so chic and affordable. I currently have a couple of their bags on my wishlist and love this little number.
Wrought Iron Curule Bench
I’m on the hunt for an end-of-bed bench for the bedroom and this is exactly the style I’d love. Between the wrought iron and the creamy cushion, this option if gorgeous.
Vintage Pewter Plate
I have a few pewter plates in this shape and am always sorry that I can’t link them when you ask because I’ve picked mine up from a local vintage shop. So, happy to have found these!
Vintage Marble Lamp
Rarely does this series not include a lamp. Whenever I come across fabulous alabaster options I always need to share them! Clearly, I have an obsession if you’ve seen my home.
Baa Baa Black Sheep
Black is a reoccurring favorite in my wardrobe. A classic, timeless, simple color that often flatters everyone - you just cannot go wrong. While I still wear a lot of black during the summer, this time of year is when I often grab my black basics for everyday wear or for days when I want to elevate my outfit.
Of course, I may have also been inspired a bit after bookmarking the fluffy sheep following my stay at the Thyme hotel in the Cotswolds. So this post is a bit of a nod to him. There are plenty of black pieces on my mind for the upcoming season, so a quick round-up was in order! And I couldn’t pass up a few home goods as well…
