Baa Baa Black Sheep
Black is a reoccurring favorite in my wardrobe. A classic, timeless, simple color that often flatters everyone - you just cannot go wrong. While I still wear a lot of black during the summer, this time of year is when I often grab my black basics for everyday wear or for days when I want to elevate my outfit.
Of course, I may have also been inspired a bit after bookmarking the fluffy sheep following my stay at the Thyme hotel in the Cotswolds. So this post is a bit of a nod to him. There are plenty of black pieces on my mind for the upcoming season, so a quick round-up was in order! And I couldn’t pass up a few home goods as well…

Beautiful Things Worth Noting No.13
Spring is springing today! This week looks absolutely glorious for us here in DC and it has me craving all the spring outfits and feels. Anytime we switch over between the warm and cold seasons, I’m always plotting a few updates, whether it be for my wardrobe or my home. I’m thinking hard about what I want to take on this spring/summer with a few ideas in mind. I don’t spend much on clothing since really focusing in on a capsule wardrobe, but I do indulge in new shoes most years and have been eyeing this gorgeous cream bag as well. When it comes to the apartment, I’m really itching to update my living room and dining a bit. And while the price of a real tapestry makes me quiver, I can’t help but want one for my space. They are so beautiful!! I’m on the hunt for something more in my price range, but for now, a girl can dream!! This one is beyond perfect. This table has also been saved for quite some time, plus a few other potential acquisitions for the season.

A few furnishings on my mind for a well-curated space.
Happy Monday! I’m back! And it’s November. How did that happen? Let’s just say…work really crept in the past couple of weeks and my blogging plans did not go as expected. One blog post was not what I had in mind for you all. But my extra project is over and so I’ve settled back into my usual routine and have my evenings free to write and create and have fun again. And I’m very happy about it! I feel like it’s finally feeling like autumn with the colors changing and colder days, and honestly, I’m all for it. I love the cozy feelings of the season and am preparing to hibernate for the next several months and post more and more. Anyways, I’ve been bookmarking several interior pieces, like this gorgeous cabinet, and wanted to create something with it.
