Curio Cabinet No.1
I have to say a big thank you to everyone who has subscribed so far. It means a lot! It’s really lit a fire under me and I’m feeling more inspired than I have in a very long time. It’s refreshing to be working with a new outlet and to have a new look/direction for my own branding and design. I’m just excited about this space right now. Anyways…
This series tends to be a favorite of mine. Just a dump of all the things I’ve found on the internet lately in one round-up. And I loved the idea of calling it my curio cabinet as a collection of sorts… beautiful pieces to share.
Vintage Iron Urn
If you know me, you know I love an aged, patinated, imperfect urn. Good for the garden, but also decor or to hold flowers. I adore the color on this one.
Everlane Canvas Organic Cotton Parka
Obsessed with this parka. I love how classic, but modern it looks and the creamy neutral is certainly calling my name. I’m in the market for a new one and think this is it.
Gohar Mini Candelabra
I’m currently having a love affair with Gohar. I find myself browsing their site every week and can’t stop eyeing this amazing candelabra. I love how slightly funky and unique it is.
Marble Cone Shell
If you follow photos of my home on Instagram, you know I have a slight obsession with shells, and natural curiosities tend to be an element I flock to. Love the gorgeous pattern on this!
Los Angeles Apparel Seashell Earrings
While I’ll always be a gold girl at heart, silver has really made a comeback in my life lately. Particularly in earrings and I’ve start up a bit of a collection—these have been added!
Wicker Hurricane Candle Holders
If there’s a wicker candle holder in the room, I’m its #1 fan. These types of pieces just add so much good texture to a space and who doesn’t love a good hurricane.
Sam Edelman Michaela Mary Janes
It’s no surprise that Mary Janes are currently trending, though I do think they never go out of style. I already have a soft neutral velvet pair and think I’ll be snagging these as well!
Vintage Marble Vase
Little vintage accessories like this are how I create a cozy, collected home, but still keep it neutral and fresh. Love this small vase!
Nothing Written Nella Strap Bag
Nothing Written is one of those brands that flies under the radar but is so chic and affordable. I currently have a couple of their bags on my wishlist and love this little number.
Wrought Iron Curule Bench
I’m on the hunt for an end-of-bed bench for the bedroom and this is exactly the style I’d love. Between the wrought iron and the creamy cushion, this option if gorgeous.
Vintage Pewter Plate
I have a few pewter plates in this shape and am always sorry that I can’t link them when you ask because I’ve picked mine up from a local vintage shop. So, happy to have found these!
Vintage Marble Lamp
Rarely does this series not include a lamp. Whenever I come across fabulous alabaster options I always need to share them! Clearly, I have an obsession if you’ve seen my home.
Beautiful Things Worth Noting No.15
Hope everyone’s week has been going well! The heatwave in DC has finally left and we’re enjoying the 70s now. Though still warm, it’s a gentle reminder that the cooler weather is on the horizon and fall will be here before we know it! It’s been so nice being back to creating again and it helps that I have so many things on my wishlist for the season! For now, a few beautiful things worth noting. There is plenty more where this came from!
Speaking of, I’ve been rearranging a few things here and there, and decided to move my “shop” over to a new platform. It’s much easier for me to add to on the go and customize, plus I can include both commissionable links and anything else! I’ve created a collection for each room of my apartment and for recent finds/items on my wishlist. Everything is now over on ShopMy. I’m thinking ahead and will most likely be using this new platform to share holiday gift guides this year… can you believe we’re almost there?!
As always, I’m endlessly thankful for each of you that visit my site. And I am so grateful when you choose to shop through my links! It takes a lot of time to curate my posts and create roundups for you, so know that your support means a lot!
worth noting
Late Summer, In the Garden
From royal grounds, to quaint English countrysides, to thoughtfully designed gardens filled with green herbs, beautiful flowers, topiaries, and pea graveled paths… I haven’t been able to stop thinking about all the inspiration I brought home with me from our latest England adventures. I’m dreaming up a beautiful, quiet garden escape to call my own one day.
Though my mind is easily drifting off into thoughts of fall, it’s still very much summer until the 23rd, and I must say… this time of year is one of the best to take advantage of our outdoor spaces. As I was doing my usual scroll of Chairish the other day, I couldn’t help but fall into a deep deep hole of garden goods. And this space is good for make believe! My future garden would be filled with old iron or wicker furniture, antique ornaments decorated about, baskets galore, and patinated urns and planters. And now, I present to you a plethora of Chairish finds I don’t have the budget for but am extremely inspired by.
