A Cozy Autumn Playlist
Popping in with a quick note that it is very much still autumn. And while I’m already enjoying a bit of festive splendor heading into late November, I’m still soaking up all the autumnal joys of the season. I’ve had my Cozy Autumn playlist on repeat to get me through the work day. Thought you all may enjoy as well! It’s giving crisp cool days, candles lit, colored leaves, cozy dinners, and Nora Ephron nostalgia.
Gone Antiquing Nº7
Getting back into the swing of things here on the blog with a new antique round-up of recent finds I’ve been bookmarking. If it weren’t for the fact that I actually have zero space for more antique lighting, I would have already stanched this chunky marble table lamp—with a fresh white empire shade, she’ll be a beauty…and under $100! Anyways, every time I dive into the endless hunt for beautiful objects online or wander through the quiet, treasure-filled halls of an antique shop, I find myself swept up in a wave of nostalgia for my old online vintage shop. The thought of reviving it keeps lingering in the back of my mind. I don’t know if I have the mental bandwidth just yet, but each passing day draws me a little closer to the idea. Especially with a clearer vision of my style now and a more refined taste, I think it could be special! I just loved finding pieces to add to the shop, packaging up those orders, and even the printed materials or little details like the tags or tape on the boxes… it was so fun and I miss it.
But I digress! I must say a big thank you to everyone who has supported my holiday gift guide—whether by shopping, sharing, or sending me a kind note. It was a true labor of love, and knowing the hours spent curating it have brought you joy is the best feeling. A handful of you even asked about printed versions for purchase (what a sweet thought!). While I don’t have any to offer this year—just one printed copy for my own keepsake—it’s sparked an idea. Perhaps a little printed booklet someday? Something tangible to bring this cozy corner of the internet to life, to inspire in a way that’s as tactile as it is visual. It’s a project taking shape in my mind the more I think about it—something to scheme and dream about.
For now, I’m content to think of new projects on the horizon and savor this space for the creative escape it offers. Here’s to more beautiful discoveries and inspiration ahead. Until then, happy antiquing—click items below to browse and enjoy!
Gone Antiquing No.7
The 2024 Holiday Guide - A Digital Delight!
The season of wonder has arrived—of cozy firesides, twinkling lights, and the gentle nostalgia cast by feel-good films, festive cocktails, warm gatherings, shimmering accents, indulgent treats, candlelit rooms, and perhaps even the hush of a soft snowfall (one can always dream). Though holiday content often seems to come early, I must admit that its arrival has been a welcome refuge, a delightful escape from the tumultuous happenings of the world at the moment. I, for one, am ready to fully embrace the season and am feeling its inspiration settling in.
It’s been a while since I’ve popped up on your screen, and I’m thrilled to return with something special - My 2024 Holiday Guide!
This year, I embarked on creating a digital magazine, a thoughtfully curated guide meant to serve as a little sanctuary amidst the holiday rush. I know well that this time of year can feel like a whirlwind of noise, so my hope is that this brings you a moment of calm—a simple pleasure to enjoy with a morning coffee or during a quiet, cozy pause. Inside, you’ll discover over 80 thoughtfully chosen gift ideas, all under $100, along with special recommendations from a few tastemakers who never cease to inspire me. I’ve also tucked in pages of my favorite holiday playlists, classic films, and more. And may I just say, this one is meant to enjoy on desktop for the fullscreen experience!
This project has brought me so much joy over the past few weeks and I cannot wait to hear what you think! May it bring you as much delight in perusing as it has brought me in creating. Happy holidays!
